A Shadow A Song

He is

…an S&G song

…a huckleberry friend

…the now missing mails in my Inbox

…an unwritten letter

…a husky laugh

…a wood scented voice in the head

He is a wavery watery shadow of a person gone. Of a person who perhaps was never there.

hi poornima,

loved it for the disturbed ripples. a sweet one. H G Wells would have started from where your loved J & H left.

so near....yet...
told about ...but not talked to..
heard about...but ...
the footsteps rustled on the dry leaves....there it was and then...
the strength of the grip was .. . dripping pleasure...but where was the hand...salsa..
he was there? the face cracked for the first time as the smile let aglow ... flickered and vanished...

I read it at two levels

"He is a wavery watery shadow of a person gone. Of a person who perhaps was never there.
- the qualities tht u r looking for but never found one

"He is a wavery watery shadow of a person gone. Of a person who perhaps was never there.
- u found the person but he is no more in ur life

i might be wrong in my interpretation but anyways ..

beautiful as always

Probably because you have no replacement for the love you felt then.

Can't you just "love"? as a verb? I'd like to know what you think.

P: Ty! :)

Ajay: You can love, love as a verb. Which involes some action. But the other form of love is when its directed at something and then there is no action there. Just a dull ache sometimes. As is now.

Anon: I do.

hey P V,

I sometimes think of sending you a line when I see the tiny pic of those tiny feet raised... are they in the middle of a dance? and then I think oh hell not good to barge in like that!
